After leaving small town life to see the world under the guidance of Uncle Sam and the USMC, the Goose found himself settling in New York. He attended culinary school in Syosset, and completed his externship at the Ritz Carlton Central Park and the Sheraton Manhattan Hotel. He stayed on with the Sheraton Manhattan as a chef tournant. Moving to the Sheraton NY Hotel and Towers, he gained more experience cooking in the restaurant and was introduced to the world of large banquets and catering. When COVID hit, he moved back to International Falls to wait out the storm. Opportunity knocked and he decided to bring his 17 years of culinary experience to this quiet little community on Rainy Lake.
